I am excited to share my love of math and art as a student tutor after recently graduating from Faith Lutheran High School with a STEM and Visual Arts endorsement.
In high school, I also tutored middle and high schoolers in Math Honor Society, was a member of National Honor Society, and organized a book drive as Co-President of Spanish Honor Society.
In my free time, I enjoy reading science fiction, sewing, painting, and baking macaroons with my little sister.

In the fall, I will be attending UC Berkeley in the College of Environmental Design to major in Architecture and minor in City Planning. I hope to combine art and math to understand how social structures and design are interrelated.
SAT and ACT Scores
Carina received a perfect math score on the SAT and ACT. She qualified as a National Merit Finalist for her PSAT, scoring in the top 1% of her state and top 0.5% of all test takers in the nation.

Outside of school, I was a synchronized swimmer for the Nevada Desert Mermaids. At the USA Artistic Swimming Nationals, my team got on the podium for 2 senior-level routines. We placed 7th at Junior Olympics, but the competition was cut short by a COVID case.
