‘Motivao’ is Puerto Rican, just like me

Yes, ‘Motivao’ is a Puerto Rican word that means ‘motivated.’ I grew up in Puerto Rico for 24 years before moving to the United States in 2012. As a U.S. citizen, in 2016 I decided to become an officer for the U.S. Marine Corps. After getting medically discharged, I decided to pursue a career as a teacher and a tutor.

Since 2018, I have been a full time teacher at Faith Lutheran High School in Summerlin, Las Vegas.
